Archangel Uriel is part of our radiantly powerful quartet of Archangels. The Archangels are central to many esoteric traditions, serving as spiritual guardians and harbingers of the four directions. Each of these angels' names and colors has special meaning.

When our British friend, the Pagan artist Billie John, asked for inspiration in the design of the Archangels, she received guidance to depict Uriel and Gabriel as female. Uriel means "Light of God." Her color is green, rising up from Earth's vegetation. She protects the North.
