Pre-dating the more commonly recognized spirit talking boards (Ouija) by several decades, automatic writing planchettes were a tool for communicating with the spirit world. Used by either an individual or a group, these simple devices allowed those at a séance to write out messages from the attending spirits. Participants seated at a smooth table covered with paper place their hands on the planchette and let the spirits guide their movements. The pencil run through the planchette transcribes the message onto the page. We create these planchettes from the best hardwoods and solid brass hardware.
